Bet US

Bet US (www.betus.com)
BetUS claims, as a slogan, “We’ve got your game,” they’re not kidding. BetUS is a sportsbook betting site, with a comprehensive section devoted to every major league, in every major sport, worldwide.
The first thing you’ll notice, when you open the BetUS sportsbook, are the last minute bets. These are updated every few hours, offering you a chance to see what’s going on in sporting matches, right now, around the world. To the left, is a menu to take you to any league, game, or payer you want, in any major sport.
BetUS accepts wagers on just about any aspect of any sport. Bettors can put their money on the outcome of specific games, of course, or on the outcome of a particular half, quarter, or inning (will the Toronto Blue Jays score a run in the 7th inning?), or even on the performance of particular athletes (how many touch down passes will Brett Favre throw, for example). Serious sports fans, and serious sports bettors, will find everything they need at this one site.
Once you’re on the site, and you’ve checked out some of the sports lines, take a look at the upper menu bar. There are buttons to launch a tutorial, which will help you to understand and navigate the site, to switch the odds presentation between American, fractional, and decimal, and to search the site for particular items. All of this helps to make BetUS accessible to the newcomer.
BetUS is open to the American market, and accepts financial transactions from American sources. Transactions are only carried out in US dollars; this is probably BetUS’s only major weakness, although the policy itself is not a bad one. BetUS carries out all transactions, including wagers, payouts, deposits and withdrawals, in US dollars for continuity purposes, and to avoid any problems or confusion regarding exchange rates.
The final verdict on BetUS.com is simple: if you like betting sports, check this site out. It’s got everything you need, from comprehensive sports lines, to good customer service, to a user friendly website, all in one package.

Dallas Drake retires
By admin | July 16, 2008
Dallas Drake of the Detroit Red Wings has retired after sixteen seasons. He wanted to go out on a high note and what better way to do this than by winning the Stanley Cup last season. When the Red Wings defeated the Pittsburgh Penguins in Game 6 of the Stanly Cup finals in June, Dallas Drake was the second player to raise the Cup, after captain Nicklas Lidstrom. To recap Drake’s NHL accomplishments: He has 177 goals, 300 assists and 885 penalty minutes in 1,009 regular-season games and 14 goals, 19 assists and 79 penalty minutes in 90 playoff games.
